Board Members

There are nine Directors of the Corporation (Board Members). Each Director is a member of the Corporation and is elected by the members at the Annual Meeting of the members. The directors are elected for 3 year terms, staggered, so that 3 members are up for election every year. The Board Members are the policy-making body of Lewisburg-Bellevue Water System, Inc. (LBWS) and approves all major operating procedures, expenditures, capital improvements and rates and charges.

The officers of the Corporation are elected by ballot, annually by the Board of Directors at the first meeting of the Board of Directors held after each Annual Meeting of the members.  The officers of the Corporation are elected by and from the membership of the Board.  If the election of officers shall not be held at such meeting, such election shall be held as soon thereafter as conveniently may be.  Each officer shall hold office until the first meeting of the Board of Directors following the next Annual Meeting of the members or until his successor shall have been elected and shall have qualified.
