Employee Benefits
Lewisburg-Bellevue Water System, Inc. strives to provide the best, most equitable and cost effective benefits for its employees. The total cost to provide these benefits is a significant supplement to each employee’s welfare and should, therefore, be viewed as additional compensation, paid in various benefits forms on behalf of each employee.
Policies, provisions and procedures that govern the company’s benefit program will apply to all regular, full-time and part-time employees, whether exempt or non-exempt status, unless otherwise provided in a particular benefit plan. While some benefits may earn credit during an employee’s probationary period, eligibility in many cases will not occur until the employees obtain regular status (six months full-time employment) or other conditions of employment specified herein.
Full-Time Employee
An employee working a schedule of 40 hours (or more) per week and salaried employees. All benefits will be available to full-time employees.
Part-Time Employee
An employee working a schedule less than 40 hours per week. Part-time employees will receive Holiday, Vacation and Sick time on a pro-rated basis according to individual work week schedule. No other benefits will be available.
